Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use this website and when you hire furniture from The Lounge Collective. Your written quote sets out the specific details of your hire, and where it differs from these terms, the quote applies.

Using this website
- Photographs on this site show pieces and setups we offer. Some are styled concept images rather than photographs of a specific event. Colours and finishes may look slightly different on screen.
- Adding pieces to your enquiry does not reserve them. Availability is confirmed only in your quote.
- The content, photographs and designs on this site belong to The Lounge Collective and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.
Quotes and bookings
- Every hire starts with a written quote listing the pieces, dates, delivery, styling and price.
- Your booking is confirmed when you accept the quote in writing and pay the deposit stated on it. Until then, the pieces may be booked by someone else.
- The balance is due on the date stated on your quote or invoice.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a booking, tell us in writing as early as possible. The charges that apply depend on how close to the event you cancel, and are set out in your quote.
Delivery, styling and collection
- We deliver, set up, style and collect the pieces at the times agreed in your quote. Please make sure we have access to the venue at those times.
- If the venue has rules about access, loading or working hours, let us know when you book.
Looking after the pieces
- The pieces remain our property and are in your care from delivery until we collect them.
- Please keep them protected from rain, food and drink stains and rough handling, and do not move them to another location without telling us.
- Loss or damage beyond normal wear is charged at the cost of cleaning, repair or replacement, as described in your quote.
Weather and outdoor events
For outdoor events, please plan cover in case of rain. We may delay setting up or remove pieces if the weather would damage them.
Liability
We take care to deliver pieces that are clean, safe and in good condition. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Kenyan law.
